Make the Facebook "Like" button like my Facebook page, instead of my Launchrock page
On the sharing page, there is the Facebook Like button with the counter, and when the user clicks it, he likes the Launchrock page. That would be a lot more useful if the action would be to actually like my Facebook Page. Right now, the only way for the user to do that is by clicking the "Facebook" link on the footer and then clicking "Like" on my Fb Page.
Right now I have more than double the amout of likes on the Launchrock page, than on my Facebook Page, which is kind of wasteful, since I'll never be able to interact with whoever liked the Launchrock page.
So the like button can be linked to the facebook page rather than the site's url (for automated following)
Thank you for the suggestion.
This would significantly reduce the LaunchRock effect ie the effective sharing of pages. The primary goal of a LaunchRock page is to bring people to the landing page to get signups via socail sharing, which is why this button is designed this way.
Don’t forget that you have external links that can take people to your Facebook page, and you can always email them after they signup and link them to your FB with the encouragement to like you page.
Thank you all for your feedback!

The like counter resetting to '0 is a bug that is near the top of our list to fix.
Also, the number likes displayed on our page randomly switches back and forth from the number of people who have liked us so far back to 0 when visiting the page. Is there a reason it is doing that?
I am not sure I agree with that assessment. Is there anyway to override this so that the likes, follows, etc... actually pass through and are retained after the launch?

Understood. Shall be doing just that.
bummer - this is a bit disappointing. I do get where you're coming from and just think the Facebook like is misleading given how most people think of "likes" on Facebook.
good idea on suggesting people go to our Facebook page!
Agreed, we removed the Facebook share for the same reason.
I totally agree with this - I removed the "Like" button for this reason. If you could please let us know when this is implemented - we'd love to put the button back!
is there any way to change to my fan page
